So today’s the day. At 1:00 p.m. (HST), I’ll be going in for my oral comprehensive examination. I’ve studied, I’ve practiced, I’ve prepared. There’s nothing left for me to do.
(Except throw up.)
I’m taking today slow. I’ll go for a walk. Try to relax. Take it one step at a time.
But could you do something for me? Just one little thing?
Pray.
Pray. Pray. Pray.
I need the words that come out of my mouth to be articulate. I need to be confident. I need to present myself like a professional. I know the material, but I’ve got to make the connection from my mind to my mouth—and honestly, that doesn’t always happen.
And thank you, dear readers. You’ve been more than supportive through this process. I’m certain you’re as sick of reading about comps as I am of preparing for them. Just know you’ve been so helpful in calming me down, keeping me sane, encouraging me. What would I do without you?
Okay.
When you hear from me again, this will all be over. I plan to post the results of my test tonight. See you on the other side!

I’m praying for you! Hope everything goes amazingly!
Praying for you Carie! You will do amazing.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So where’s the celebration tonight? Your God is awesome and will continue to bless your efforts because I know you do it for Him.
It’s 3:18 and I’m wondering what amazing thing God is doing right now.
That’s 1:18 your time.
praying for you……
